Who we are

This website represents Joyce Still, prospective parliamentary candidate in 2019 General Election, standing for the Labour Party in the constituency of Stafford.

This website has been created by her campaign team and has been paid for out of donations made to Stafford Constituency Labour Party.

Cookies

When you choose to join or donate, you will redirected to The Labour Party’s website, which is subject to this privacy policy.

Website Analytics

Stats logs — containing visitor IP addresses and WordPress.com usernames (if available) — are collected by Automattic’s JetPack plugin which is installed on this website. This information retained by Automattic for 28 days and used solely to record the number of site visits and page views.

We use this information to determine which articles published on this website have attracted the most visits and in turn, inform decisions about the types of articles we post in future.

Automattic do operate their services world wide, and therefore the information collected by the JetPack plugin for analytics purposes may be transmited, stored and processed outside of the European Economic Area. Automattic take appropriate measures to ensure that personal information is protected as per their Privacy Policy as required by applicable law. These measures include:

Who we share your data with

Where those are based outside of the European Economic Area, we will ensure that their privacy policies meet EU standards or are subject to the US-EU Privacy Shield.

Visitor comments submitted to this website may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

How we protect your data

We take a range organisational and technical measures to protect your data. For instance, all communication between your computer and this website is encrypted in transmission using HTTPS.

We do not store any sensitive data. We use strong randomly generated passwords for access to the site. We take steps to ensure all the software we are relying on is regularly updated. The site is hosted with a UK hosting provider using a secured data centre.

What third parties we receive data from

We may receive further information provided by The Labour Party and Electoral Role information that is available to political parties within the UK. We may also receive publicly available information, such as election results etc.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We may use further information provided by The Labour Party, Electoral Role information and other publicly available information to determine who we should contact for campaigning purposes.
